I have taken groups to Europe and Asia for several years now. In 2023, I planned a group trip to Israel. I had known Sandro for a while from other visits to Israel, so I reached out to him to collaborate on this trip and ask him to be our guide and tour planner. Sandro spent an incredible amount of time with me in emails, texts, and phone calls BEFORE the trip ironing out all of the details. Many times with tour companies, the tour itinerary is set with very little room to budge. But not with Sandro. He was patient, accommodating, flexible, and easy to work with. He allowed us to cater the trip with specific requests. The hotels, sites, his knowledge of the history, food, and pace was just what our group needed. Sandro was a friendly and engaging tour guide! We toured Old City Nazareth, several churches, and sampled the local cuisine. He is a foodie—come ready to try some amazing eats (definitely ask to try falafel and Knafeh)! It was wonderful learning the multifaceted history of this ancient city so uniquely influenced from a variety of cultures. It brought the home of Jesus to life in a new way. The most impactful part of a tour was visiting Mount Precipice and seeing the most breathtaking 360 view of the valley below! Sandro is a great storyteller, local celebrity, and has a great pulse on the Holy Land.
